In the wake of the slaying of the Russian ambassador to Turkey, RamZPaul identifies four post-terrorist absurdities and cliches that generally go unchallenged:
- The use of vacuous phrases like "Thoughts and Prayers."
- The pretence that we are "shocked" by incredibly common acts of Islamic terrorism.
- Muslims claiming that God is "Great," even though he is clearly unable to kill people on His own.
- The double standard: If Nazis killed people, would the media and politicians say "Most Nazis are good" and "We're worried about a backlash against Nazis." Probably not.
